About Us
HISTORY
Renaissance Personnel was incorporated in March 1997 by the current founder and President, Chris Bechard. Chris brings a unique perspective to the employment services industry. Employed in the manufacturing sector for 17 years, his career path was anything but typical. Starting as an Industrial Machinist building engineering prototypes he was promoted to Employee Participation Coordinator, Industrial Relations Administrator and ultimately to Human Resources Manager. The combination of technical and human resources knowledge provides a valuable foundation in the complex world of recruitment. Also in the role of HR Manager, Chris was a customer to numerous Employment Agencies ranging from Windsor to Toronto. Through the eyes of a customer, he developed new operating principles for Renaissance Personnel that have become standard practice for many organizations in the region.
From humble beginnings at a home office with one employee, the company experienced phenomenal growth, expanding to twenty Recruitment Specialists operating four divisions in Chatham, London, Mississauga and Windsor. Annual sales grew at an average of 68% reaching $10 million in FY2004, just 6 years after incorporation.
The growth of Renaissance Personnel is unique because the company has never employed a sales representative. At last count, Renaissance has provided employment services to over 500 businesses of every size and description, almost entirely through referrals and relationship development.
OUR TEAM
As is often the case a team develops as a reflection of the leadership. Similar to the Company President, the team at Renaissance Personnel has a diverse blend of education and experiences. This is not by accident but rather by design. Experience has taught us that the most successful recruiters are those who have varied backgrounds in companies similar to the organizations we serve. This provides the obvious advantage of understanding customer needs from direct, first hand experience.
Our team of dedicated recruiters and support staff practice a true service mentality. They take personal pride and ownership in everything they do.
